The skyline has changed over the years, but what hasn’t changed are Atlanta’s great hotels — like the Hyatt Regency and the Westin Peachtree Plaza — that offer rooms to admire the ever-evolving skyline. Signia by Hilton Atlanta

Hyatt Regency Atlanta

The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is one of the city’s iconic hotels. You will delight in looking out your window and seeing the metro area unfold before your eyes. Another bonus is that more than 100 rooms have their own balconies, so you can step outside and hear the sounds of a bustling city below.

Grand Hyatt Atlanta

Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead offers spectacular views of the Downtown and Midtown skylines as well as spectacular views of Atlanta’s famous green tree canopy stretching all the way to Stone Mountain. Standing in the heart of Buckhead on the corner of Peachtree and Piedmont roads, the hotel offers unobstructed panoramic views of the city from its suites and upper floor guest rooms.

Hyatt Centric Buckhead

It should come as no surprise that you’ll get a feel for Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood when you stay here. The Hyatt Centric Buckhead mirrors the neighborhood vibe with its upscale accommodations, great food and topnotch wine. The hotel’s rooftop bar, Spaceman, sits 15 floors above and offers views of the Lenox Square District and Atlanta beyond. There’s easy access to great shopping at Lenox Square, Phipps Plaza, Shops Around Lenox. Unwind with a walk along PATH 400.

Hotel Clermont

Located on Ponce De Leon Avenue in the Old Fourth Ward, a vintage brick building is home to the trendy Hotel Clermont. This boutique hotel has a rooftop bar, where you can enjoy seasonal co*cktails, food carts and stellar views that extend “for days.”Walk next door to Ponce City Market for shopping, dining, and people watching.

Loews Atlanta

Loews Atlanta is a modern hotel with views of Midtown’s growing skyline as well as nearby Piedmont Park. Go to the Exhale Spa and look out over Peachtree Street while you’re sweating away on the treadmill.

Westin Peachtree Plaza

If you look up when you are at the Westin Peachtree Plaza, about the only thing you’ll see are birds and Delta Air Lines planes. That’s because the hotel, with 73 floors, is one of the tallest buildings in the city. You’ll see for miles. For a 360-degree view, go up to the 70th floor to the Sun Dial Restaurant, which is open for dinner Thursday through Saturdays. The Observation Deck and Lounge currently are closed.

Kimpton Hotels

Want a different sort of view? Head down to the modern boutique Kimpton Overland Hotel by the airport. The hotel overlooks the 1.6-mile driver development track at the Porsche Experience Center and the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Enjoy handcrafted signature co*cktails on the eighth floor at The Rooftop at The Overland where you will marvel at the panoramic views.

What once was a 1950s’ residential building has morphed into a mid-century style, chic hotel, Buckhead’s Kimpton Sylvan Hotel. This hotel offers great outdoor views from the rooms as well as the St. Julep rooftop bar (try the Le Classique corn dog with the St. Julep (Woodford Reserve, Giffard Menthe Pastille and mint) and the 6,300-square-foot courtyard, (don’t forget to order the cheese board and Aperol Spritz while sitting by the firepit).

Epicurean Atlanta

The Epicurean Atlanta in Midtown bills itself as a food-focused hotel, and that means that even the hotel’s design emphasizes food, using culinary-inspired materials such as butcher block. Keeping with that theme, the Epicurean even offers cooking classes here. Find the Aerial Kitchen & Bar perched on the ninth floor Sky Terrace, adjacent to the rooftop pool.

Reverb

Reverb is a new hotel from Hard Rock hotels. No surprise, Reverb is designed for music lovers. Located next to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the heart of Atlanta, Reverb’s RT60 rooftop bar features live music with a view of the Atlanta skyline and up-close views of Mercedes Benz stadium.

Hilton Atlanta

We will neither confirm nor deny that we have gone into the Hilton Atlanta just to ride the glass elevator to the 30th floor up to Nikolai’s Roof. On the way up, look around and admire the southside city views. But, you don’t worry. Every room has a great view as well.

Four Seasons Atlanta

The Four Seasons has welcomed rock stars (Bruce Springsteen even worked out in the fitness center), movie stars and a variety of other celebrities, but what they all share with you and me are loving the great views from this Midtown hotel. The rooms offer splendid scenes, and the rooftop bar is among the best in town.

Hotel Colee

Hotel Colee used to be the W Hotel Buckhead. Even though the name has changed and the hotel underwent a multimillion dollar renovation, the glorious views are the same, including those from the fourth floor infinity pool and fitness center — and from Whiskey Blue, the rooftop patio bar.

Glenn Hotel

The 1920s’ landmark Glenn Hotel has an amazing rooftop bar that overlooks Centennial Olympic Park, allowing you prime viewing of the SkyView Ferris wheel. The hotel, which is near State Farm Arena, features 11 floors, 110 rooms and 16 suites. We might sound as if we are bragging by saying that the SkyLounge at the Glenn has one of the best rooftop lounges in the world. So, we won’t brag. We’ll just point out that ABC said it was one of the top 23 Best Rooftop Lounges in the World.

Bellyard Hotel

Bellyard is a boutique hotel located in West Midtown. Visit the Drawbar where the outside terrace offers views of Atlanta’s skyline. Enjoy a crafted co*cktail and bar food or stop here for breakfast and dinner any day and weekend lunch.

Omni at CNN Center

Located in the heart of Atlanta, the Omni Hotel offers world-class accommodations and service and some of the best views of Atlanta landmarks including Centennial Olympic Park and SkyView Ferris wheel.

W Atlanta Downtown Hotel
