If you are a sizeable, well-established Wyoming (or EXTREME South-Central) Montana-based cow/calf operator, the following is what I CAN do for you:
THE GOOD: I feel confident-enough to jump right-in and help with winter-feeding (hay and cake), calving (first-calf heiffers AND older cows) tagging/weighing, records-keeping, riding, doctoring, rotating pastures, branding, fencing, dragging fields, (flood) irrigation, haying (I have LIMITED experience operating two or three various makes/models of tractors, round-baler/round-bale feeder, skid-steer, and dew-eze hydraulic pickup feed-beds) I can help with all facets of fall-works (gathering, weaning, sorting, processing, shipping, preg-checking), maintain salt and mineral, lick-tubs and protein-blocks, weed, predator, pest and prairie-dog control, monitoring of water-tanks (windmills, solar-wells and gas-powered pump-jacks) hauling water, etc, etc, ETC...
...along with WHATEVER-ELSE I am capable of picking-up, and learning along the way.
THE BAD: I DO NOT have a CDL, nor have I ever worked in a feedlot, or drawn-wage$ as a full-time ('dedicated') shop-mechanic, welder, farmer, farrier...or as a horse-breaker/trainer.
I will be only TOO-happy to jump-in and help with whatever is needed on a daily-basis, but MY primary-focus is on: LOOKING-AFTER & TENDING-TO CATTLE.
I am middle-aged, single/alone, and on my own with no spouse or children; nor any furniture, appliances, horses or dogs in tow behind me.
I am in 'reasonable' physical-condition for my age, which is my way of saying: I can STILL do (most) everything the 'younger-bucks' can do...
...I just do it slower.
If 'speed' and 'hustle' are more-important to you (in a potential-hire) than 'attention-to-detail', then you and I probably won't get-along very well, because I work at one-speed, and one-speed only: M.I.N.E.
Looking-back on my life, it has become clear to me that I spent (and literally PISSED-away) my entire twenties, thirties, forties (AND even a fair-amount of my early-fifties ?) running my ass RAGGED, for countless-numbers of UNGRATEFUL, selfish, self-interested bastards, who never bothered to offer me even the simplest of 'thank-you's...and now that I am a few years-short of turning sixty...it is clear to me that it is TIME for me to take a lower-gear, and learn to look-around, breathe-deep, and APPRECIATE the finer-points of looking-after/tending-to cattle.
God-willing, this I SHALL-do, till my last-moments here on this Earth.
IMPORTANT: As I am financially U.N.A.B.L.E. to get my own house, apartment or RV to live in anywhere, and as my 30+ yr old vehicle is WAY too worn-out, inefficient and unreliable to use as a 'daily-driver' needed to 'commute' to and from (or 'for use on') the job-site, ON-SITE housing (offered AS-PART of monthly-wage$) is absolutely required.
If I am expected to go even-deeper into financial-debt (than I already am) in order to find (and secure for myself) my OWN off-site housing/RV, furniture, appliances, horses, tools, trailer, etc, etc AND a newer, more feul-efficient, more-powerful (and reliable) vehicle to haul ALL of that behind-me, or to 'commute' back and forth from the job-site (in order to be employed by you) then you are simply TOO EXPEN$IVE for me to work for.
This is NON-negotiable.
That said, my UNQUESTIONED allegiance (and loyalty) goes to WHOM-EVER care's-enough to offer me an honest leg-up.
My old Chevy (a worn-out, 30+ yr old half-ton with WELL over 600+ k on the odometer) is already stacked and packed tightly with everything (what little ?) I still-own, and waiting on a direction to point her in...
...God-willing, ALL I have left to my name is LESS than 1/4 tank of gas (and an empty-wallet, with NO bank-accounts, or any credit/debit-cards in my name) to get me to wherever I am headed from here.
Assuming I have crunched my most-recent fuel-mileage (MPG) numbers right, I have (roughly) about 80 to 100 miles (+/- MAXIMUM travel-range) I can go from where I am (here in Park-County (North-West) Wyoming) before I finally run out of gas; so there is simply NO point whatsoever in my considering ANY job-offers (ag/ranch-related and/or otherwise) from 'outside' that specific travel-radius, WITHOUT significant-risk of losing what little I still have left to my name, on the side of the road somewhere, without ANYONE I can call (or rely-on) for help to get me going, again.
It would also be immensely-helpful if I had a clear, HONEST-assessment of exactly how long the job you are offering is expected to last, so that I might have a clearer-idea of how to 'best-budget' my (assumed) incoming-wage$...
...because if you 'lie' to me, and FOOL me into committing to YET-ANOTHER seasonal (ie: 'disposable') temp/seasonal-job (or when my 'usefulness' is up and you kick me out into the street WITHOUT warning OR reason, as SO many countless-others have in the past) I will then have NO-OTHER ALTERNATIVE but to go-back to living 'out-of-pocket', and YET-ANOTHER damned flea-bitten/bed-bug-ridden, motel-room or another RV-camping-spot (such as I am now) somewhere, until my NEXT (hopefully 'longer' ? ?) full-time ranch-job presents-itself, elsewhere.
I cannot live like this anymore.

I am not a 'know-it-all/top-hand-wannabe'...I'm not ever in a 'race' to get things done, and I don't waste time or energy 'posturing', kicking-up dust, or blow-snot trying to 'impress' anyone...
...I just try to do my best (every waking-day) to be of 'adequate-use' to whomever I am gainfully employed-by.

A close-friend of mine (working-remotely in SD) has graciously-agreed to 'bump' this posting (at least once a month) and notify-me of any-responses to this ad, because I have NO internet (or Facebook) access within 40 miles of the Motel/RV-lot where I am staying.

Believe-ME when I tell you I've been around the world a few times...and I am at the point in my life now, where if a potential-employer cannot (or is'nt willing-to) roll the dice and make a decision based-purely on 'gut-instinct', then I'm simply not interested in going the distance and risking life and limb for them, for the (expected) duration of the job.
I've got a close-knit group of individuals whom I consider (and who consider-themselves) to be 'close-friends' of mine (since before high-school) and that's primarily-because once someone earns MY respect...I will literally walk through the Fires of HELL (and back) for them.
That's just how I am.

Irregardless of whatever wage$ you are offering, as stated-above: ON-SITE housing (offered AS PART of monthly-wage$) is absolutely required, in order for me to even BEGIN considering myself 'commiting' to-you.
Because my prepaid mobile-phone is on a solar-charger (plugged-in and turned-on ONLY during daylight-hours) and is running EXTREMELY-LOW on minutes, I have NO choice but to 'screen' ALL of my incoming-calls, and I need to keep those calls VERY short.
Assuming I have adequate cell-signal and my phone DOES ring, if I should happen to see my caller-id displaying ANYTHING-OTHER than: (307) Wyoming or (406) Montana area-codes, I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING to that call, OR to ANY voice-mails left to me from OUTSIDE those (EXACT) same-two area-codes.
NO 3RD-PARTY JOB-REFERRALS ! ! ! I am weary of forever chasing-down 'dead-end' job-leads for which I am either 'unqualified', and/or in environments/locations where I am financially UNABLE to relocate, or UNINTERESTED in relocating-TO.

In-person, I would be (and have-been) best-described as "one of the most 'humble, deferential, easy-going (albeit 'hyper-tensive' ?) individuals you will ever meet"...but I am NOTHING if not a 'mirror of my immediate-environment', and given my Military-Brat/childhood up-bringing in a largely Sicilian/Hungarian-household (while both of my folks were on overseas-deployments) I was taught from an early-age (and while I served active-duty military oversease, myself) to NOT. EVER. allow-myself to be unnecessarily pushed-around, manipulated, 'coerced' OR threatened, WITHOUT responding 'in-kind'.
ANY attempts to 'test' me on that final-statement, WILL be met with severe-consequences for ALL-involved.
