Costco carries name-brand alcohol and favorites such as Don Julio, Patron, Grey Goose, and Hennessey at great prices. Many of the name-brand hard alcohol that Costco carries is also accompanied by a very similar Kirkland Signature Brand.

For those looking for the best deal, Kirkland Signature alcohol offers some of the best value and quality around.

In some states, Costco doesn’t sell any hard alcohol or liquor (including their ownKirkland Signature Liquor) and will only carry wine, beer, orhard seltzer.

I’ll touch on this subject a little more in depth later on in this article, but if you are fortunate enough to live near a Costco that does carry hard alcohol or liquor you are in luck as often the alcohol selection is wide and the prices are very affordable.

Costco alcohol/liquor selection will vary by state and location, so it’s near impossible to get accurate inventory and pricing for this liquor guide. Instead, I will showcase some of the more popular hard alcohol options that Costco carries and include as full of a list as I can at the bottom of the article, detailing selection and pricing.

The question gets asked often, but surprisingly, depending on the state, you do not need a Costco membership to purchase liquor or alcohol from the warehouse.

This will depend on the state and their specific state laws, but there are a handful of states where you can enter a Costco location without a membership if you are there to buy only liquor or alcohol.

Yes, for the most part, the best liquor and hard alcohol deals and prices will be at Costco. This is just a general rule and the savings are at least a couple of bucks.

Sometimes Costco will run a sale on select alcohol products, which usually drops the price by 15-20%. When Costco alcohol does go on sale, the price is very hard to beat and is usually the best price on the market.

But don’t ignore other stores completely. Keep an eye out for sales at other places too. Sometimes their sale prices can dip lower than Costco’s.

Hendrick’s is a pretty new gin compared to others you’ll find at Costco, only launching in 1999. They make it using old-school pot stills plus a unique Carter-head still for ultimate flavor control. Now you can get this craft gin with the funky apothecary-style bottle on Costco shelves alongside the classics.

Kirkland Signature French Vodka

The Kirkland Signature French Vodka is undoubtedly one of Costco’s most popular liquor products in the warehouse. Many Costco members have wrongly speculated that Kirkland’s vodka is a private-label version of Grey Goose due to similar taste profiles and ingredient origin. While, we do know Grey Goose doesn’t make the famous vodka, we haven’t yet solved themysteryof who does.

At just $20.99 per bottle, Kirkland French Vodka might just be the best bargain in the entire Costco alcohol department.

Created in 1997, Grey Goose quickly ascended to the top as the best-selling imported Vodka in the United States.

The vodka is crafted in France using French wheat and spring water from the Cognac region, but a lot of its success can be attributed to its sleek packaging and innovating marketing techniques. If you are lucky, you may spot the Collectors edition with tumbles at your local Costco.

Tito’s Handmade Vodka originally started out as a micro-distilled American vodka sold in mason jars. They have since catapulted into one of the most well-known and respected American vodka brands today.

Despite its modest beginnings, Tito’s is now a vodka juggernaut available in bars across America and even more importantly on the shelves at Costco.

Kirkland Signature Tequila Anejo
