DENVER — The Rolling Stones are ready for their first Colorado concert in five years.

The Rolling Stones will bring the "Hackney Diamonds Tour" to Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on Thursday.

Widespread Panic will be the opening act for the performance.

The Rolling Stones are celebrating "Hackney Diamonds," their first studio set of new material since 2005's "A Bigger Bang." The band said it will play cuts from the new album, as well as classic hits like “Start Me Up,” “Gimme Shelter,” “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” and “Satisfaction.”

"Stones Tour ’24 Hackney Diamonds" is sponsored by AARP.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band has sold over 250 million albums worldwide.

RTD light rail for Rolling Stones

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will run its regular service on its light rail lines that service Empower Field at Mile High.

Before and after the concert, RTD said it will have regularly scheduled service on the D, E, H and W lines, which serve the stadium, as well as A, B, G and N lines which provide service to Union Station.

RTD customers can download RTD’s Next Ride app or use the trip planning tool to see transit options in real time.

Light rail trains in RTD's Southeast Corridor are operate under a regular schedule; however, speed restrictions are in place in some areas as crews complete maintenance.

  • H Line (60-minute frequency): 11:25 p.m.
  • D Line (30-minute frequency): 11:49 p.m.
  • W Line (30-minute frequency): 11:52 p.m.
  • E Line (60-minute frequency): 11:55 p.m.

An RTD spokesperson said they might run extra trains but the only guaranteed times are before midnight.

On-street Parking

Fans should watch for posted parking restrictions around the stadium and surrounding neighborhoods. Denver’s right of way enforcement agents will enforce posted parking regulations in the area.

Vehicles that park without appropriate permits will be cited and towed to a temporary impound lot in Denver at 2000 W. 3rd Ave.

Carpool

Concertgoers can consider carpooling either with a designated sober driver or a ride share service. Fewer cars on the roads and highways means less traffic and can help reduce the number of concert-goers that need to utilize street parking.

Bike
